Role and season on site
Construction workwear has to account for different roles: structural work, finishing trades, site engineers and site managers. For teams working outdoors for long periods, the season, dust, mud and temperature changes during the day are decisive. For site clothing, we start with working hours, the tasks carried out and the tools carried. If main contractor and subcontractor teams need to be distinguished, a colour and logo plan is set from the start.
Trousers, jackets, waistcoats and coveralls
Work trousers and jackets in hard-wearing fabric are the most common garments on site. Knee pockets, tool pockets and rule pockets are discussed according to the trade. Reflective waistcoats can also be used by site engineers and visitors, while coveralls may suit painting, plastering and insulation work. T-shirts and polos are planned for summer, and work coats for layering in winter.

Visibility, hard hats and protective equipment
Hard hats, gloves and safety footwear fall under personal protective equipment and should be considered separately from everyday workwear. Reflective strips on a garment do not on their own show that a high-visibility standard is met. For high-visibility, flame or welding requirements, send your technical specification; the materials and documents required are discussed before a quotation is prepared. If outerwear will be worn in wet weather, state your expectations so that fabric and seam properties can be reviewed against the specification.
Bulk orders by project
Share the number of projects or sites, the garment list per team, size distribution and project duration. A plan for additional orders as new staff join during the project can also be discussed. If the company logo and project name are required, send the artwork and placement. When fabric, branding and delivery needs for the project are clear, the quotation is prepared. Transport to site is agreed separately.

Frequently asked questions
Which fabric suits a site team?
Share the trade, season and daily working hours. Fabric weight and durability are reviewed with that information; protective requirements need a technical specification.
Does a reflective waistcoat meet a high-visibility standard?
Reflective strips alone do not show compliance. The required standard and documentation should be stated in the technical specification and are reviewed before a quotation.
Can subcontractor teams be distinguished by colour?
List the teams with the colour and logo required for each. Producing one model in different colours is discussed with the fabric options.
Are hard hats and safety footwear part of a workwear quotation?
These items are personal protective equipment and are considered separately from everyday workwear. List them as separate items in your enquiry so the scope can be clarified before a quotation.
