Different roles in the same building

Facility management uniforms should treat cleaning staff, maintenance technicians, grounds teams and reception staff as separate groups. Cleaners on office floors and teams working in car parks or plant rooms do not have the same needs. For cleaning staff uniforms, we discuss daily movement, the materials carried and working hours. For teams who meet visitors regularly, a tidy and consistent appearance also shapes the choice.

Tunics, aprons, trousers and polos

A tunic or uniform top with trousers is a common combination for cleaning staff who move around all day. Waist or bib aprons can be worn over tunics by housekeeping staff and teams working in kitchen areas. Work trousers and polos suit maintenance teams, while shirts are more typical for reception and front-desk roles. Each team can wear a different garment while following one colour and logo plan.

Cleaning chemicals and technical requirements

Chemicals and disinfectants used in cleaning can affect fabric colour and durability, so details of the products and washing routine help with fabric selection. It must not be assumed that a garment protects against chemicals. For specific risks such as chemical splashes, work at height or electrical tasks, send your technical specification; whether these points can be met, and with which documents, is clarified before a quotation. Everyday staff clothing and personal protective equipment should be handled separately.

Ordering for several sites

Share the number of sites you serve, the garment list per team, sizes and colour preferences. If you are a service contractor and need separate logo application for different clients, mention this as well. For teams with frequent staff turnover, model references can be planned from the start. Once garments per team, fabric and delivery requests are defined, we prepare the quotation; delivery to individual sites is discussed separately.

Frequently asked questions

Can cleaning and maintenance teams use different models?

Yes. Share each team’s role and garment list separately; tunics, aprons, trousers and polos can follow one colour and logo plan.

Do cleaning chemicals affect garment choice?

Tell us which products are used and how garments are washed. Fabric and colour are reviewed with that information; chemical protection is not assumed.

Can different client sites use separate logos?

List the logo artwork, quantities and placement for each site. The model can stay the same while branding is agreed site by site.

How should we plan for teams with frequent staff turnover?

Share the size distribution and estimated additional needs during the year. Later orders using the same model reference can be discussed from the outset.
