The different sides of plant and field work
Energy sector workwear should consider control room staff, operations, mechanical maintenance, electrical maintenance and field teams separately. Working conditions, weather and tasks differ between thermal, hydro, wind and solar plants and substations. For power plant uniforms, we start with role allocation, working hours and time spent in the field. Work on ladders, towers and in confined areas directly affects the cut and pocket choices.
Coveralls, trousers and jackets
Coveralls with reflective strips are frequently requested for maintenance teams. Units that prefer two pieces can plan work trousers and jackets as a set. Lighter everyday workwear for control room and operations staff can be considered as a separate item. Teams working on open sites need layering to cope with the season, wind and temperature changes.

Arc, flame and electrical risks
Energy facilities may involve arc, flame, static electricity or chemical risks. Reflective strips or a particular fabric do not by themselves establish compliance with a protective standard. For such requirements, send your technical specification; suitability and documentation are discussed before any quotation is issued. Everyday staff clothing and personal protective equipment should be handled separately, with any items requiring a specification clearly identified in your enquiry.
Ordering for several sites
Share the number of sites or plants, the garment list per unit, size distribution and company colours. If contractor teams should follow the same clothing scheme, mention this as well. After the specification points, fabric and branding details have been reviewed, we prepare the quotation. Dispatch to your sites is discussed separately.

Frequently asked questions
What should I send for work involving arc or flame risks?
Send your technical specification, the required standard and documentation expectations. Materials and suitability are reviewed before a quotation; reflective strips or a fabric name alone do not indicate protection.
Can control room and maintenance teams have different garments?
Yes. Share each unit’s role and garment list separately; coveralls, trousers and jackets can follow one colour and logo plan.
How are reflective strip positions defined?
Describe the working environment and preferred strip layout. Strip positions are planned with pocket and logo areas; a standard requirement needs a technical specification.
Can contractor staff use a separate logo?
Send the list of contractor teams, quantities and logo files separately. The same model can be reviewed with different logo applications.
